Argument leads to man’s stabbing

Grand Bahama police are investigating a stabbing incident that has left one man in serious condition in hospital.

According to police, the victim was at a business on East Atlantic Drive when he became involved in an argument with another man who stabbed him in the chest and shoulder with an unknown object.

The victim was taken by private vehicle to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where doctors listed his injuries as serious.

No arrest was made and police are continuing their investigation into the matter.

MOTORCYCLIST IN HOSPITAL

A 35-year-old man is in serious condition in hospital after he was struck while riding a motorcycle in the Lucaya area on Friday evening.

The traffic accident occurred around 7.30pm on September 11 on Seahorse Road and Grovesnor Way, involving a black and red motorcycle and a green Ford Taurus. The motorbike and the vehicle were damaged.

The rider sustained serious injuries to the head and was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
