GRAND Bahama Police have made two separate drug arrests this week.
Police report that officers made the first arrest around 11am on Tuesday in the Waterfall Drive area, where they had executed a search warrant at an apartment. While searching the residence, officers discovered a plastic bag containing a quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. A 27-year-old male resident was arrested and taken into custody.
Shortly after 11am on Tuesday at Eight Mile Rock, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Russell Town. Officers found a quantity of marijuana and arrested a 22-year-old male resident. Both men are expected to be charged later this week for possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply.
