CLEVELAND Eneas emerged as the champions of the New Providence Primary Schools Sports Association’s Annual Track and Field Championships, held last week at the Thomas A Robinson Track and Field Stadium.
The three-day meet was held in honour of the late Cleveland Eneas.
Coached by Mariska Stubbs, Cleveland Eneas captured the title with 294 points. Yellow Elder finished second with 216, followed closely by CW Sawyer with 213. Claridge Primary was fourth with 149 and Albury Sayle took the top five with 143.

Shorneka Williams - 1 place 100m , 2 place- 200m under 11; Raven Pratt- 2- 400m- under 11; Jamiah Nabbie- 1- Long Jump, 1- 200m under 9; Shantaveia Daxon- 1- 800m- under 9; Shawnette Florent - 2- 400M under 11and Synis Lockhart- 3- 100- under 9.
Boys
Frederick Jonassaint- 1- 100m, 1- 400m, 1- long jump- under 12; Alan Clayton - 1-1200M - Under 12 and Garvin McKenzie- 3- high jump.
Cleveland Eneas is expected to celebrate during their assembly at school on Friday.
