Anybody home?

Okay, I understand the PM being out of town, it’s his usual “modus operandi” these days.

You know utter some far fetched statement, like “Baha Mar will be open sooner than later”. Then “poof” disappear into thin air only to resurface somewhere abroad shortly after, entourage in tow. This time it’s off to Switzerland.

If I were the PM considering the performance of my administration thus far, I would stay travelling as often and as far away as possible.

It’s easier to be ashamed far away from home.

I can only imagine that DPM, Mr Phillip Davis is having “flashbacks” to the last time Mr Christie went off on a trip and left him in charge, we all remember how that turned out for “Brave”.

No home invasion robberies “dis lap” for “Brave” he’s off to Japan for “business” meetings.

So let me get this straight, if both the PM and DPM are in “foreign” that leaves .... Minister of National Security Dr BJ Nottage in charge?

“Three blind mice, see how they run”

God help us all.

If his lackluster approach to crime on multiple levels thus far is any indication of his leadership qualities, then there’s no need for him to “babysit” the nation.

Nottage, needs an experienced hand to show him the way, just like the rest of us do as a nation. No more repeats of the versions of “keystone” cops we keep replaying.

Until we can find someone to truly eradicate crime, may I suggest “BJ” grab a rag and start shining those new grenades or tubas, wax on, wax off.

Totally ‘Ofenceive’

Not to pick on the Minister of National Security, but am I really supposed to feel confident with a man who’s ministry is responsible for national safety, who can’t even secure a chain link fence on the Saunders Beach Highway.

Yes the chain link fence is missing again, in chunks.

Again the owners have come back to claim “dey tings” and leave a lovely blemish on our society.

Might I suggest having Power Secure run a non-lethal voltage to the fence, just enough kilowatts to make a chain link thief reconsider, and if that can’t work just take the fence down and save the tax payers money for something else like .... Carnival!!
