THE start of a new year for many people means new self-imposed rules or commitments regarding one’s dating life, diet, exercise, work and finances.
One local entrepreneur hopes that at the top of every Bahamian woman’s agenda for 2016 is to not only generate wealth but also to understand how to “elevate, accelerate and walk into divine to manifestation of their desires.”
With her new book, “10 Winning Strategies to Attract the Wealth You Want”, author Melisa Hall shares tips to help women find their true purpose, create wealth and become successful entrepreneurs.
Mrs Hall, who is also a wealth coach, started the WOMENpreneur’s Edge, a free e-coaching programme, in the form of a newsletter. It is designed to inspire and empower women to find the path that leads to success. The newsletter features strategies, solutions and secrets for women to create, manage and protect wealth.
Mrs Hall’s new book takes her coaching one step further by giving readers precise information about how to obtain and maintain the wealth they so desire.
“Zig Ziglar (author, motivational speaker) says you can have everything you want in life if you would just help more people get what they want,” she said.
“Firstly, as a certified financial planner, coach, mentor, trainer and professional speaker I am very passionate about helping more people get what they want in life, business or ministry, much faster. Secondly, I wanted to get my message and story out about wealth and success. Thirdly, I wanted to create a tool that would allow my legacy to be activated to live on. Finally, I wanted a way to answer the common question I am asked all the time, ‘How do you do it all?’.”
Many people want to obtain wealth but have no clue where to begin or how they can use the potential they have. Mrs Hall said her book will address those issues.
“The overall message of the book is that you can increase, improve and upgrade your lifestyle when you implement and take decisive action by using universal principles, strategies and keys, but more importantly, by finding out what is more distinct or unique to you that can be used to attract more of what you want to happen,” she said.
Mrs Hall said the book identifies 10 distinctions and strategies that she has studied, learned and lived that can elevate a person personally, professionally and corporately. “It’s about knowing the difference between the winners and the losers, the rich and the poor, the leaders and the followers,” she said.
“I address concepts like ‘You are already wealthy’; ‘There is power and potential inside of you that you simply need to unlock’; ‘How it is important for you to use your power to create and activate what you want whether it is success or significance’. That abundance is your birthright and you have to step up, stand up and take the virtuous position that’s been gifted to you. It discusses topics from mindset, relational equity, branding and how to position yourself to truly prosper and so much more.”
Mrs Hall is the founder of Melisa Hall and Co law chambers, Kingdom Women in Business (KWIB), Business Money Women (BMW), a radio talk show.
The global marketplace has become more competitive and diverse, she said, and only those who possess a certain uniqueness will have an edge. It is for this reason she felt compelled to share the information she does in the book.
“Whilst you may be talented, educated or qualified, there is no guarantee of promotion in your career, and as an entrepreneur you must be able to stand out and distinguish yourself to attract wealth, success, happiness and prosperity. The rules of the game in the world are constantly changing, and whilst chances or opportunities may appear to be diminishing, I wanted others to know that you can live the life you really want. More importantly, I wanted more people to take charge of their personal economy and understand that wealth is not just about money,” she told Tribune Woman.
Mrs Hall said she hopes that her book, which is expected to be released later this month, can inspire readers by clarifying all of the opportunities and simple steps that can be used to make their dreams a reality.
“It can give them hope in a changing economy that will give them the edge to succeed. It can inspire them to live a life without limitations, restrictions or boundaries, knowing that with God, the right tools and people you can gain an edge to succeed. It also bridges the gap between spirituality and practicality a place where many persons get stuck,”she said.
Mrs Hall is also the general manager of the Bridge Authority and minister elect at Word of Life Kingdom Ministries. She is married to Minister Elect Cedric Hall and is a mother of three children.
