POLICE are hunting for a man who sexually assaulted a woman and stole her vehicle late Sunday night.
It was one of four armed robberies that took place between Sunday night and Monday morning.
In the first incident, shortly before 9pm on Sunday, a woman had just arrived at her home on Butlers Way off Carmichael Road when two men in a grey Honda Accord approached.
The men, armed with handguns, robbed her of her silver 2008 Honda Accord, license number 275881, before speeding off.
An hour later, shortly before 10pm, another woman was pulling into her yard at Turtle Drive off Carmichael Road when a man armed with a handgun forced himself inside her silver 2008 Honda Accord and sped off.
The gunman allegedly took the woman to the parking lot of a shopping area on Carmichael Road where he sexually assaulted her. The man then forced the woman out of her vehicle and drove off, police said.
In the third incident, shortly before 11pm, a man was parked in his 2015 Hyundai Grand with a female friend in the area of the caves in western New Providence, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed him off his vehicle before speeding off.
In the final incident, shortly after 3am on Monday, a man was parked in his 2012 Honda Civic, license number 301562, with a female friend in front of a home located at Jacaranda Street, Pinewood Gardens, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed him off his vehicle before speeding off.
