WORLD renowned golf course designer and developer Tom Fazio II was in town this week at the invitation of Solar Verde Bahamas Limited.

Fazio, who has designed golf courses for Donald Trump and many others, is set to develop two major world-class golf courses in South Andros under the Solar Verde Limited project. Solar Verde is the company that will be carrying out a major development in South Andros.

“I look forward to the upcoming months when we can dig into the plans and details to see how this truly amazing endeavour comes to reality,” he said.

On Tuesday, Fazio was taken to South Andros to view the island terrain so that he could decide where the two major world-class courses will be located.

Rita Grant, chief executive officer of Solar Verde Bahamas Limited, said they are extremely excited to be working with Fazio, whose level of expertise and vision will take South Andros to an entirely new level.

“Because of his reputation, artistic creation and following, we foresee an influx of major tourism as it relates to golf enthusiasts in South Andros and we are looking forward to the business and jobs that this relationship with the creators and developers of Solar Verde Bahamas Limited will bring.”
