POLICE are investigating the death of a man who was discovered in a tractor submerged in water in the Deadman’s Reef area on Tuesday.

Although police have not released the victim’s name, he is believed to be Paxton Williams.

According to reports, shortly after noon police were called to Deadman’s Reef where the body of a man was found in a tractor in a canal. The man was retrieved from the water and pronounced dead.

Inspector Terecita Pinder said police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and the man’s death.
