POLICE arrested two people for possession of dangerous drugs in separate incidents in Grand Bahama on Tuesday.
According to reports, the first arrest was made around 10am when officers of Operation Turf Sweep stopped and searched a man in the Garden Villas area who was allegedly discovered with a quantity of suspected marijuana.
The second incident occurred shortly after 4pm when officers from the Harbour Police Station arrested a female resident of Lincoln Green Subdivision, who was allegedly found with a large quantity of suspected cocaine in her handbag.
Both are expected to be arraigned in the Freeport Magistrate’s Court this week on drug possession charges.
