KALIK, the beer of the Bahamas, is the proud sponsor of the 60th Annual Cat Island Regatta.

This year’s event is scheduled to begin today and run until August 1 at the regatta site in New Bight, Cat Island.

The regatta committee promises that this year’s festivities will be bigger and better than ever.

Visitors can expect a variety of local live entertainment such as: D Mac, Veronica Bishop, Funky D, The Falcon Band, Bohog and the rooters, and Anderson Williams.

If those entertainers weren’t enticing enough, visitors can participate in the dominoes tournament, water relay race, musical beach towel, and the ugliest man contest.

There will be lots of native dishes to try, and wash down with an ice cold Kalik as you dance the night away to sweet rake ‘n’ scrape music.
