THE Bahamas Cricket Association men’s select team pulled off two of the six matches they played against the host Washington DC Cricket League All-Stars.
They were leading their final game yesterday, but the rain came, forcing officials to call off the game.
BCA president Greg Taylor said the team played very well but more work needs to be done.
“It’s a development tour, leading up to the ICC American’s Division Tournament, which should be played next year,” Taylor said.
“We are using this tour to see which players we will take on the tour when we will play against some of the cricket players in the world.”
Prior to Thursday’s game, the Bahamas defeated the Taurids on Wednesday at the Lake Fairfax field. The Bahamas scored 208 runs in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets. Taurids was 150 for 8.
Ryan Taplin, Greg Taylor Jr and Marc Taylor led the Bahamas, while the top bowler was Gregory Erving.
The team is scheduled to return home today.
