A NEW trial date will be fixed for a man who denied that he attempted to rape a woman in 2013.
Otto Moss, 30, appeared before Senior Justice Stephen Isaacs yesterday for the expected start of a hearing into an alleged sexual assault that occurred on September 14, 2013.
However, the court was informed that the complainant had a medical emergency that would delay testimony.
As a result, Moss returns to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, June 22 to receive a new date for trial.
Moss had pleaded not guilty to the charge of attempted rape when formally arraigned in the Supreme Court on March 21, 2014.
He remains on bail and is represented by attorney Ian Cargill.
Anishka Hanchell appeared for the Crown.
