CITY BOWLING

LEAGUE

THE most valuable player in City Bowling League competition Monday night was Derrick Burrows of Fresh Blend Rolling Stones with a second high game of 258 and an outstanding 663 high three game set.

The runner-up was Anthony Ingraham of Reach Crusaders with a huge 267 high game and a 604 second high set.   The leader in the ladies’ category was Kayla Nixon of Genuine Knights with a 205 high game and a 542 high three game three set.

Nixon was followed by Janice Hoyte of Ten Back Strikers with a 539 second high set. Tara Johnson of Duce City E & U Watercoolers toppled the pins for the second high game of 204.

The team scores for the evening were:

BILLFISH

TOURNAMENT

THE Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina has announced team sign-ups for the second leg of the 2016 Sportfishing Series - the Billfish Tournament scheduled for April 13-17. 

The tournament will employ a points scoring system with collective high scores ultimately tabulated in November to determine the winners of the four-tournament Sportfishing Series.

Top team and catch trophies will also be presented to those participating in the Billfish Tournament. The three-day tournament will culminate with a poolside party ceremony Saturday, April 16.
