POLICE in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left a man dead.
According to police reports, shortly after 3am on Monday police were called to the East Sunrise Highway area, where they found a 2004 Chevy Malibu that had crashed into a concrete utility pole.
Three men who were in the vehicle were taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital where one later died from his injuries.
One man is listed in serious condition and the third is in stable condition.
Meanwhile, police in Eleuthera are investigating the circumstances surrounding a traffic accident in which one man was killed on Saturday.
Reports are that shortly after 4am, a man was riding a motorcycle on Queens Highway, Gregory Town, when he collided with a Ford Expedition vehicle that resulted in him being seriously injured. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the island’s doctor.
Investigators from the Police Traffic Department in New Providence were expected to fly into Eleuthera to assist in the investigation.
