Lady Muriel is a class act at the Family Island Regatta

Over 70 boats representing Bahamian islands competed in various races over the weekend in the 63rd Annual National Family Island Regatta in Elizabeth Harbour, Georgetown, Exuma.

The regatta featured four days of sailing with races in Classes A, B, C and D. This tradition started in 1954 and today it is one of the oldest regattas in The Islands of The Bahamas.

Lady Muriel emerged as Class A champion with 23 points. Running Tide came in 2nd with 22 points and Original Courageous was 3rd with 22.

New Susan Chase was the Class B champion with 43 points. Lady Sonia finished 2nd with 42 points and Lonesome Dove came in 3rd with 41 points.

Whitty K was the Class C champ with 105 points while Lady Diane ended up 2nd with 101 points and It Aint Right came in 3rd with 98 points. Class E Champion was Gold Rush.
