A MAN has been found shot dead in the parking lot of a business establishment in Freeport, Grand Bahama, police reported on Sunday morning.
According to reports, shortly before 3am, police in Grand Bahama received a report of gunshots in the parking lot area of a business establishment in the area of the International Bazaar, East Sunrise Highway.
Officers arrived to find the lifeless body of a male, who had been shot, lying on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
The murder - the 17th on Grand Bahama this year - takes the country's homicide total for 2016 to 95, according to The Tribune's records.
