BASKETBALL BSC CLASSIC

THE Baptist Sports Council began its 2017 Basketball Classic at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex on Saturday.

In games played, Eagles Nest blasted Macedonia 38-25 in the 15-and-under opener; Blessed Hope held off Macedonia 50-42 in a 19-and-under game; Independence Church of God held off the Eagles Nest 35-33 in another 19-and-under game; Macedonia routed New Lively Hope 46-26 in a men’s encounter and the Eagles Nest knocked off Golden Eagles 47-30 in the men’s feature contest.

The league will continue on Saturday with the following games on tap:

10am - Macedonia vs Eagles Nest (15-and-under); 11 am Blessed Hope vs Eagles Nest (19-and-under); Noon Macedonia vs Independence Church of God (19-and-under); 1 pm Evangelistic Center vs Eagles Nest (M); 2 pm New Bethlehem vs New Lively Hope (M) and 3 pm Macedonia vs Golden Gates (M).
