World-renowned preacher Bishop Jacqueline McCullough aims to stimulate minds an souls when she appears as the featured guest speaker during Golden Gates Outreach Ministry's first ever "Refresh" conference this Sunday.

Bishop McCullough is fresh off her presentation at MegaFest, a major four-day festival founded by famed evangelist T D Jakes that culminated in Dallas, Texas, earlier this month.

She will join members and friends of the Golden Gates community during the church's 'Super Sunday', which will also feature a variety of outreach activities, starting off with a special service at 9am.

According to organisers, under the theme "One Church, One Family", 'Super Sunday' will feature exciting praise and worship, a Junkanoo rush-out by One Family, the preaching of Prophet Remington Rolle, and then after the service, a community outreach programme.

This programme will include free medical, dental and optical screenings, housing and insurance initiatives, a blood drive and business opportunities on all levels.

Then, at 7.30pm, the Refresh conference kicks off.

Bishop Jacqueline McCullough of New York is the founder and pastor of the International Gathering at Beth Rapha. She is also an author and gospel musician. Her first album, "This Is for You Lord", was released in 1998. It was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release on the Gospel Albums and Christian Albums charts.

Bishop McCullough will be preaching for two nights, as well as doing a midday luncheon for female pastors, ministers, and 'first ladies' to discuss the new trends in ministry and how women can have successful, sustainable dynamic ministries in an ever-changing global society. All events are open to the public.

Pastor Trent Davis of Golden Gates Ministry told Tribune Religion that Bishop McCullough will bring an inspirational and life-changing word.

"She is just off the MegaFest tour in Dallas, Texas, and we may not be able to take the Bahamas to Dallas, but we can bring the speaker to to us," he told Tribune Religion.

"This is the first year we are hosting the Refresh conference. We wanted to people to be revived during the Summer," he added.

Pastor Davis said the ministry remains committed to living up to its name and is fully engaged in its mission to reach out to members in the surrounding communities.

" 'Super Sunday' is one full day that meets the entire man. We are seeking to build the whole person, spiritually and temporally. We have to live up to reaching out to the community one neighbourhood at a time," he said.
