CHRISTIAN women from all around the world will come together in Nassau next week for the Mothers and Daughters Ministries' ninth annual Global Conference.

The Global Conference and honoree services will be held July 31 - August 6 at the Meliá Nassau Beach Resort.

The theme for this year's conference, founder Pastor Monique Seymour said, is "Arise and shine, for thy light has come and I will glorify my house with my Glory" - taken from the book of Isaiah 60: 1-7.

"This ministry honours and encourages the women of God who have been labouring and toiling in the work of the Lord. This year's event will feature women from various countries from around the world who will be coming together under one umbrella to unite as one, where the Mothers and Daughters Ministry will honour them for their years in ministry," said Pastor Seymour.

This conference will include day and night sessions, workshops, a gathering for married women and singles as well.

"Women from 15 countries will step foot on Bahamian soil to partake in our conference and honoree services," said Pastor Seymour.

Last year, they ministry hosted the Global Caribbean Conference in Trinidad and Tobago, where women from the region were honoured.

Pastor Seymour said the conference will be a special time for women to gather, get recharged, be inspired and get a renewed sense of purpose for their lives.

The main goal for this event is to showcase women who have been showing love and working in ministry. Pastor Seymour said she wants these women to know their labours of love do not go unnoticed.
