HIGH SCHOOL

ST THOMAS UNIVERSITY

RECRUITMENT

ST Thomas University’s track and field coach and academic recruiter will conduct sessions on March 12 at RM Bailey Secondary High School from 2-5 pm.

St Thomas University will be offering scholarships in academics, track and field, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, softball and cheer/dance for male and female as well as volleyball for females only.

SOFTBALL

HIGH TEAMS FOR NPSA

THE New Providence Softball Association is hoping to submit two high school All-Star male teams in their upcoming seasons with games expected to be played on Friday and Saturday nights when the season gets underway on April 20. It is expected that Perry Seymour and Richard ‘the Lion-Heart’ Johnson will coach one of the teams and Mario Ford will coach the other.

Interested players are urged to contact their physical education teachers or the NPSA executives for more details.

BASKETBALL

BSC MEETING

THE Baptist Sports Council will hold a meeting 10am Saturday on the basketball courts at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex for all churches interested in participating in the 2017 basketball league, which will comprise of the 15-and-under, 19-and-under and open divisions.

All churches interested in participating are urged to make sure that they are in attendance as the date for the official opening will take place. The registration fee is $200 per team in each division.
