ALIV Buckets and the Pirates won the New Providence Basketball Association's double header at the AF Adderley Gymnasium on Monday night.
In the men's division II opener, Aliv knocked off the Johnson Truckers 78-75, while the Pirates got by the Rhythm Rebels 83-74 in the men's division one feature contest.

Buckets 78, Truckers 75
Dylan Musgrove got a two-handed dunk with 20 seconds left to put Aliv up 78-73 as they held off the Truckers down the stretch.
Musgrove, who shot 10-for-14 from the field and 2-for-3 from the free throw line in 34 minutes and 52 seconds, finished with 25 points with six rebounds and two blocked shots.
Rashad Ingraham, in 34:26 minutes, led the attack with a game high 26 points, 14 rebounds and two assists. James Rolle added 14 points with four assists, two rebounds and as many steals.
For Johnson's Trucking, Christoff Stuart had 23 points with seven rebounds and three assists in 37:30 minutes. Rashad Edgecombe had 13 points, three rebounds and two assists and Tyrell Griffin chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds.
Pirates 83, Rebels 74
Playing 33:12 minutes, Kronoff Dean had a game high 27 points on 9-of-13 from the field, 4-for-7 from the three-point line and 5-for-6 from the foul line to lead the Pirates. He also had six assists and five rebounds.
Craig Smith Jr contributed 23 points with six assists and four rebounds and Scottie Farrington helped out with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Adorn Charlow poured in 18 points with 17 rebounds for the Rebels in the loss. Craig Buchanan and Theo Ferguson both came off the bench with 12 and 11 points respectively and Rashard Williams added 10 points with 10 assists and three steals.
