A BAHAMIAN real estate firm is teaming up with a Florida-based seaplane outfit to allow clients to explore options throughout the Bahamas "in style".

Gavin Christie, C.A. Christie Real Estate's managing partner, yesterday told Tribune Business the firm was teaming up with Fort Lauderdale-based Tropic Ocean Airways to offer the seaplane service to its clients.

"We often deal with very high net worth individuals. Their time is limited and our time is limited," he explained.

"When you're a top CEO you don't have three or four days to fly in, stay at a hotel and look at multiple properties.

"We wanted to address that and give our clients the ability to see multiple properties across the Bahamas in a day."

He added: "C.A. Christie Real Estate, in conjunction with Tropic Ocean Airways, will be providing a new exclusive service to our clients that will allow them to explore luxury real estate options throughout the Bahamas in style.

"High net worth individuals will be able to hop on a seaplane from Florida, enjoy a customised luxury real estate experience and be back in Florida in time for dinner."

Tropic Ocean Airways, which is based in Fort Lauderdale, was founded by navy fighter pilot, Rob Ceravolo.

The company currently has scheduled service into Bimini, Great Harbour Cay, Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay via a fleet of 11 aircraft and 100 employees. In addition, there are plans to expand the business to be announced imminently.
