BOWLING

THE top scorer in the Financial Bowling League competition last night was Stan Bethel of Strike Force with a 610 high three game set.

The runner-up was Tyrone Knowles of Leno Corporate Services with a 221 second high game and a 573 second high set.

Clayton Gardiner, also of Leno Corporate Services, downed the pins for a 225 high game of the evening.

Monique Miller of Strike Force toppled the pins for a respectable 191 second high game. The ladies’ MVP was Petrina Cartwright of BTC Night Hawks with a 201 high game and a 501 high three game set. She was followed by Joy Lockhart of BTC Night Hawks with a 462 second high set

MEETING

THE Bahamas Rugby Football Union’s annual general meeting (AGM) is scheduled for 6:30pm tonight at the Winton Rugby Centre.

The clubs have already been informed that they are expected to send two voting representatives but all are welcome to attend.

The season schedule will be released to the clubs immediately after the AGM with three weeks to review and request changes.

The season is all set to open on Saturday, October 21 with the traditional President’s XV versus Vice President’s XV game.
