THE Bahamas is competing for nine different awards at the upcoming 25th World Travel Awards.
This nation is vying with rival destinations for awards in the categories of: Caribbean's Leading Beach Destination; Caribbean's Leading Cruise Destination; Caribbean's Leading Cruise Port 2018; Caribbean's Leading Destination; Caribbean's Leading Dive Destination; Caribbean's Leading Honeymoon Destination; Caribbean's Leading Luxury Island Destination 2018; Caribbean's Leading Tourist Board 2018; and Caribbean's Most Romantic Destination.
The global public will decide who gets top spot by voting at www.worldtravelawards.com. Voting is open for Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Central America, Indian Ocean, North America and South America. The deadline for voting for the Bahamas is August 12. Votes are cast by travel professionals and consumers, ensuring that only the most deserving destinations win. The World Travel Awards are recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.
