Realtor upgrades to 4k video showings

Damianos Sotheby's International Realty yesterday announced its website has been upgraded to support 4K video on its property detail pages.

The Bahamian real estate firm said the feature will now be rolled out through its entire website, SIRbahamas.com, over the next few months.

"4K video is the new benchmark for both recording and watching video, and it brings a whole host of benefits to our clients," said Lana Rademaker, Damianos Sotheby's International Realty's chief Sales officer.

"This technology presents our exclusive listings in the highest resolution possible, bringing all aspects of a home to life in a way that allows potential buyers to experience the home's true beauty and value simply by viewing a property video."

With high display quality and faster screen refresh rates, Damianos Sotheby's International Realty believes 4K can deliver almost as much depth as 3D but without the need for glasses.

"With the level of clarity that 4K video provides, it's really the next best thing to touring the property in-person," Ms Rademaker said, adding that this was especially important given that many high-end buyers are viewing properties from outside The Bahamas.

"As a company with extensive global reach, we are committed to taking advantage of every tool we can to ensure that the buyer experience is as satisfying and as seamless as possible," Ms Rademaker said, "whether that buyer is viewing our website locally or from 3,000 miles away."
