This week, "Live with Kelly and Ryan" hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest announced the show will be leaving behind the winter chill of the Northeast US and is heading to The Bahamas for four shows from the newly updated Atlantis, Paradise Island, airing February 5-8.
With the Atlantis resort as the backdrop, the "Live" broadcasts will showcase the stunning, natural beauty, unique experiences and rich culture that the chain of Bahamian islands has to offer.
"We're thrilled to have the opportunity to bring 'Live' back to The Bahamas," said Michael Gelman, executive producer of "Live with Kelly and Ryan".
"Atlantis has proved to be an ideal setting for the show. The broadcasts are going to look terrific, and it'll be fun to give our viewers a taste of the tropics when it's the dead of winter throughout most of the country."
"'Live' has always had a home at Atlantis and our 7,500 Bahamian associates are excited to welcome Kelly and Ryan to Paradise Island to share our #BahamasatHeart spirit with their audience and our guests.
This will be an exciting week for all - the turquoise waters, the Bahamian sounds and flavours, all our new experiences and the great chemistry of the hosts - it's the ultimate warmth in the middle of winter," said Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis.
"With some of the clearest water on earth, the Bahamas is the number one destination in the world for #nofilter posts and we can't wait to have Kelly and Ryan showcase our natural beauty and authentic culture with their viewers," said Joy Jibrilu, director general at the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation.
Viewers who already will be in The Bahamas during the "Live" broadcasts can log onto the show's website, KellyandRyan.com, to request tickets.
