So these actresses seem to be saying the old practice to ensure you get a part is now history.

Imagine the inventor of the iPad yesterday commented that everyone seems to be now addicted to texting and looking into a small screen and this is having enormous social repercussions.

Any sane thinking person knew that.

Go anywhere today you rarely hear conversation...it is all heads down and fingers running.

I am coming to believe history will tell that the development of cellular communication was the greatest disrupter of social inter-reaction ever invented and certain very high officials want to be their spokesperson?

Evaluate ourselves - since BTC introduced cell-phones has doing business actually improved? Try sending an email to a Minister - Permanent Secretary anytime on any subject - lost in cyber-space this instrument is a wonderful provider to the Public Official - you can always delete!

Look in your homes are you speaking to your children? Do your grown children still come and visit or do they rely exclusively on What’sApp to communicate with their mother-granny or.....?

It is heads down and fingers texting but to where?

Will the cellular Companies take the responsibility for all of this? Will they take responsibility of the inevitable negative impact on grades in school which are already at a catastrophic level?

Parents - guardians do not give your young ones cellular telephones too early monitor what they are linking to many describe the cellphone as an instrument of the devil incarnate.

There is no doubt our society has not improved since the introduction - has efficiency improved? Cellular phones put the Police at an enormous disadvantage as the criminal can use it to their advantage but look see who praises a certain cell-Company?

Why should we be receiving child pornography and all kinds of very ‘distasteful messaging and videos - surely URCA needs to look into that a filter be added to all services. A Licence does not give you the right to do anything for the almighty dollar!

Oh, yes, it seems the cellular Companies have inexhaustible funds and sponsor everything but are they willing to take the responsibility of the damage to a fragmented society we have?

You know – No!

Don’t get me wrong a cell-phone is useful if used productively but we all know it is not - far from it in fact.

How many children go to bed hungry because Mama must be on What’sApp or similar social services? Now that will be interesting to know.

Texting and driving is against the Law ... drivers please stop doing it.
