EDITOR, The Tribune.
THE Tribune provides a great platform for joe public to raise issues and discuss issues ....it seems even the Government reads The Tribune and they react to content of letters to The Editor.
There was a letter complaining about the senior Police Officer appearing boldly in uniform acting as a spokesperson for one of the cellular Companies - instantly the advertisements have disappeared from the newspapers and off the television channels.
Great news, thank you.
Just wondering and we would like to know: Did the Commissioner institute any disciplinary action as a result of this blatant violation of General Orders or the Officer was just told stop and a slap on his wrist?
Whatever earnings the Officer made should be donated to charity or an NGO.
I fully agree the Police Disciplinary Commission should be independent – as good as you might be, sorry you are not going to police yourselves RBPF.
