TWO more cold fronts are expected to hit the country starting today, according to Basil Dean, chief meteorologist at the Department of Meteorology.
Although the cool start to the New Year has given way to warmer weather recently, temperatures are expected to drop over the next few days.
Mr Dean, a veteran meteorologist, told The Tribune: “Beginning (today), winds will pick up significantly, and those windy conditions will continue through the weekend.
“Temperatures will also drop a few degrees as of Thursday. Days will be cooler and milder. Boats and other small craft are also advised to exercise extreme caution.
“Another cold front will come in on Monday. Strong wind conditions will also follow into the middle of next week. There will be windy and cool conditions.”
