Gospel artist Travis Santon is set to host a live music recording of his latest acoustic single "I'll Wait For You" this Friday at the Evangelistic Temple on Collins Avenue.
The recording session will also feature appearances by musicians such as the Rebirth Worship Band, Najie Dunn, Davian Chase, Eman, Kingdom Mime, the eNue Street Team, and comedian Bertrum Oh Bubbler.
"I'll Wait For You" is Travis' first single from his forthcoming album entitled "Crossroads", also to be released this Friday.
He first launched his music career at the age of 17, exploring what up until then had been merely a hobby. Now, at age 25, the singer is proud of his evolution as an artists and his accomplishments, which include winning the BTC Star Maker Season 1 show in 2010, as well as releasing an EP in 2014 called "One Love, One Gospel" that featured songs like " I Remember", " No Need To Cry", and " Heaven is for Real."
Travis also had the opportunity of working alongside Grammy Award-winning producer and writer Michael E Mathis, the chief musician for Pastor Shirley Caesar, who is known at the US' "First Lady of Gospel Music".
He has performed at Atlantis, Baha Mar, The Island House and at various venues and events around the country.
"I am currently pursuing a career full-time in music. I intend to tour and release musical projects globally. For years, I have been writing songs hoping that someday they'd be heard by others. So with much prayer and preparation I've taken that inspiration and produced results. This Friday persons can look forward to not only hearing great music, but also being inspired, motivated and encouraged. This music will not only impact their lives but it will also bring emotional healing to those that are hurting," said Travis.
Travis said his music is easily accessible online for all those interested.
"Fans and followers have given reviews stating that my music is very professional, internationally ready and comments stating my voice evokes strong emotion," he said.
Travis said he will continue to work hard, and dreams of one day touring the world with this music and impacting as many lives as possible.
Friday's show starts at 7pm, doors open at 6pm. For more information, contact the artist at 544-5421 or by e-mail: travagrams@gmail.com.
