THE New Providence Softball Association continued its regular season in the Banker's Field at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex with a double header in the ladies' division on Saturday night.
In the opener, the Platinum Lady Sharks devoured the Johnson's Lady Truckers 8-1 and the defending champions Sunshine Auto Lady Wildcats blanked the BTC Lady Warriors 10-0.

Monet Cartwright went 2-for-2 with two runs and Ramona Hanna was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two runs batted in to push Platinum's record to 3-1 as they remain in second place. Johnson's dropped to third at 2-2 with the loss.
Taylor Cartwright was the winning pitcher and Valencia Gibson suffered the loss.

Lady Warriors 0
Thela Johnson helped her own cause by going 2-for-2 with two runs scored and drove in two RBI on her two-run home run in the first inning as Sunshine Auto extended their front running lead to 4-0. Ruthann Simms went 2-for-3, scoring a run and added a RBI and Larikah Russell was 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
With the loss, BTC dropped to fourth at 2-3.
