The great I am that I am, we the people of this Bahamaland exalt and lift up your name on high. We magnify and glorify your name above all names.

Yahweh, our lord, you are our rock and fortress and deliverer; our only God, our strength, in whom we will always trust. You alone are our shield and the horn of our salvation, our stronghold. We are calling upon you like never before, you who are worthy to be praised. Almighty God save us from our enemies. (Psalm.18:2-3)

You are the rock and strength of this nation. You are the only one who can deliver us from our enemies. We praise and thank you for your grace, mercy and loving kindness to our nation. Oh, sovereign ruler, you have been most gracious to our nation and have blessed us beyond our understanding, even when we have failed you.

Almighty God, if any time we realise more than ever that we have opened our border to all foreign gods to enter our nation, it is now. Every evil force of darkness that is controlling the minds of our people, especially our youth, we call down your sulfur fire to burn them to the roots.

But oh mighty, mighty God of the universe, the all-powerful God, we cry out. The Bahamas has suffered violence too long and your kingdom warriors are now taking this nation for your honour and glory.

For your kingdom to come and your will to be done in this Bahamas, with your kingdom authority and dominion, and your power, we are stand bold and courageous knowing you are with us and we are fighting for righteousness and justice.

Merciful Father, in Psalm 96:13 you said you will judge this world with righteousness and the people with your truth. In verse five you said that all of the gods of this world are idols, and at your appearing all idols and graven images shall fall.

Most Holy One of Israel, we call forth the spirit of Josiah to root up and pull down every alter of idolatry so that your peace and prosperity can invade these family of islands.

God, with your power we pull down every unrighteous instrument and unrighteous sceptre planted in the high places of authority in our nation and confound and confuse the spirits that are released as a result of them.

We break the spirit of Bacchanal (carnality) that is presented in the Carnival festivals and agree with the word of Isaiah the prophet (Isaiah 42:10-12) that these islands shall sing, shout, praise and give glory unto the Almighty.

Father, we know that your judgement will shine as a light in the darkness of our nation and show forth your righteousness (Isaiah 51:4)

Deliverer and redeemer, you said when your judgement is in the earth it's then that the people of the world will learn of your righteousness.

You are the architect of the universe and you have called these islands and place of judgement and truth. (Isaiah 42:1-6). We agree with your word concerning these islands of the sea and say that your will be done. Let your glory cover these islands like the water covers the sea. We pray the spirit of Babylon which governs the political, economic, social and religious system of our nation be removed.

Yahweh, we declare and decree that Babylon has fallen from over our nation. The veil that has cast over and is covering our nation is confounded and confused and is coming down.

We declare the spirit of idolatry, witchcraft and sorcery is broken over our nation. You are the God of the breakthrough; uproot and break down the spirit of every foreign god and they shall enter the gates of our nation no more.

We pray the spirit of greed and covetousness be broken so that the wealth in the Commonwealth shall be made common to all. We declare and decree that the proverbial Jericho Wall falls to the ground so that our people can enter and possess the land.

We declare and decree that the Bahamas shall become a sovereign nation and that our values, morals and spiritual values will be respected and honoured by every nation upon the face of the earth.

Mighty one of Israel, we pray that the wording of the preamble of the Constitution hold strong over our nation as we are governed by moral and spiritual values, the rule of law and under the supremacy of God.
