A firearm found in the business area of Freeport was turned over to the Central Police Station, police reported.
According to ASP Terecita Pinder, a citizen discovered a .38 revolver in the area of Logwood Road and took it to police.
In a second incident, she said that officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit acting on information discovered a black pistol along with two rounds of .9mm ammunition in the area of Winchester Circle.
ASP Pinder said no arrest was made in the matters and investigations are continuing.
