EDITOR, The Tribune.
SO we are going to celebrate discriminating Women’s Day-week.
Hasn’t the Minister any knowledge of the Bahamas Constitution that one may not discriminate?
Was listening to a Committee person of Women’s Day-Week on a Talk Show and every word she discriminated even to the extent of saying men will not be guaranteed a seat at their discussions!
It is illegal in The Bahamas to a Woman’s anything - exclusively for the female gender as it is illegal to have anything solely for the male gender.
Why can’t we read The Constitution? 44 years have gone and the majority of us seem not to have read it let alone have a copy.
Yes Editor - a female only group - a male only group is a Contravention of The Constitution - time we complied with it — it is only 44 years late.
Time the Ministers know this and stop talking total gibberish.
