THE Bahamas Professional Golf Tour is poised to set a new golfing pace and increase and heighten professional golfing awareness and exposure to the professional golfing community.
Dedicated to the advancement of the professional golfing standards and opportunities both locally and internationally, the BPGT, spearheaded by the passionate young Bahamian golf professional Riccardo Davis, along with his dedicated and committed BPGT committee, plan to revolutionise the world of professional golf as Bahamians know it.
Thanks to the title sponsorship of Bahamas Waste Limited, the BPGT invites all professional golfers to join in the inaugural BPGT Professional Golf Open, hosted at the Royal Blue Golf Course at Baha Mar, starting on Friday, May 26.
This signature series of monthly golfing tournaments will provide the opportunity for the local Bahamian golfing community to sharpen and improve the quality of their golf game and compete in regulated tournament play for attractive cash purses and prizes for the top three finishers in four categories in which you can enter a team of four players. The BPGT invites all professional golfers as well as those amateurs that want to play at a highly competitive amateur level to join Mr de Cardenas and the BWL team on the greens as he also celebrates his passion and excitement for the sport of golf. Bahamas Waste Limited is proud to kick off the BPGT Series as the lead sponsor for the launch. Tee off is set for 2pm Friday, May 26 at Royal Blue Golf Course.
