A young woman has won the 100 JAMZ secret sound prize.

For weeks, Bahamians all over the country called into the radio station to try their luck at winning the jackpot until Rodgenae Rolle secured the coveted cash reward.

The jackpot was raised to a whopping $5,000, following hundreds of failed attempts to uncover the sound.

Ms Rolle said she was “ecstatic” when she found out that she had finally solved the mystery.

“I was almost ready to give up and all, but I said no, (I’ll try) one more time so it was a good feeling,” she said.

Ms Rolle said she plans to pay her child’s school fees with the cash prize.

She explained her child is enrolled in a private school, so she wants to “get that out (of) the way”.

Ms Rolle also revealed she has another “little one on the way,” so her big win came in perfect timing.
