EDITOR, The Tribune.
Were we not told that the new policy would be strict and you would not see numerous billboards and outside advertising?
Clearly, the product managers, advertising and promotions have gotten to someone as some roundabouts today are covered with large billboards.
Saunders Beach was, I think, the first potential site for the electric signs - been installed for months. Obviously, the cost is too high but blow me down right at the entrance to Goodman’s Bay there is a plywood-sized version going up - now the smaller neat Saunders still hasn’t been rented, imagine the bigger one?
Then there are those nuisance small signs advertising everything stuck in the ground at roundabouts and along the highways - no one gets permits for them.
Sandy Port bridge and the casuarinas that block the sea view - can’t someone cut all of them down so the driving public - residents and visitors can enjoy a little of the scarce waterfront (all the rest blocked with homes and high walls).
Drains seemingly all blocked again and we are in the rainy season!
