The Calvary Deliverance Church is making preparations to host its fifth annual Gatekeepers Prophetic Prayer Conference next month to promote lifestyle changes regarding prayer and fasting.
Under the leadership of Bishop James and Elder Queenie Newry, the church will hold a midnight prayer tomorrow night which will go until 5am on Saturday morning. Then, it will host 'Prayer Marathon Monday' from 9am to 8pm this coming Monday.
The fifth annual Prophetic Prayer Conference will be held Monday, June 4, through Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 7pm nightly. The speakers will include Apostle Gail McKinney, Brother Ian Cooper, Prophet Antoine Jasmine of Louisiana and Prophetess Quinty Sears of Freeport.
The question that is being asked is, "What is it we need driven out? "
The answer can be found in Mark 9:28-29: "And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting."
"With the knowledge of the scriptures we understand that being victorious in this life will require a lifestyle change to now prayer and fasting," said a church representative.
"It is not the government's, an association's or the civic group's responsibility, but each individual collectively coming together in one accord to bring resolve to our country's social ills, family disintegration, sickness in our bodies, unemployment, being set free from the many addictions that lay at our door steps and salvation for our loved ones. Let us all return to the old landmark and once again genially be concerned for and pray for one another."
