HOW pastor Deneace Lloyd was able to recover from past failures, bad choices and rejection are all detailed in her new book set for release next week.

“On the Road to becoming a Daughter of Destiny” shares the intimate story of Pastor Lloyd’s journey - one that she struggled to write down.

The author said she had been commissioned by God several years ago to begin penning the book, but procrastinated.

Recently the desire to write revived. Pastor Lloyd decided to obey the voice of God and remember all details that led to her starting the Daughters of Destiny Network and ministry work.

Pastor Lloyd is due to launch the book on November 8 at the Paul Farquharson Conference Centre, Police Headquarters beginning at 7.30pm.

“I actually never thought I would ever be an author. After being led by the Holy Spirit to begin the Daughters of Destiny Network back in 2012, the Lord told me that one day I would have to tell my story of how I became a Daughter of Destiny. In 2015 he spoke to me and said it was time to write the book. He gave me the title for the book – “On The Road To Becoming a Daughter of Destiny” – my journey from rejection to acceptance. And today, my book is now a reality. I must give honour and glory to God,” she said.

She was motivated to write the book in 2015, three years after organizing the Daughters of Destiny Network.

“Then I began to put my thoughts together but was not able to complete it as planned. It was in October 2017, that Prophetess Quinty Sears prophesised to me and said ‘The Lord said finish the book’. Well, I knew it was God, because she did not know me at the time and surely she did not know that I had began to write a book.”

Then in January 2018, Pastor Lloyd said she received another prophecy from Prophetess Francina Thompson who offered up the same message “The Lord said finish the book; it’s time to finish the book; you have a story to tell.”

“Well, I knew that the Lord meant business. It was time to complete what I started in 2015. Hence my motivation and urgency to complete the book arose. The writing of the book stems from my personal pain, suffering and struggles to seize my purpose among the constant rejection from my childhood all the way through life and even in the church.”

While the book chronicles her journey, she said those seeking God to find out their purpose in life can gain much inspiration.

“I share intimately about my personal journey from rejection to acceptance. I share how the plans I made for myself were overthrown by God’s plan.

“It will allow the reader to see exactly how God can take your mess and create a masterful message out of it. How God exchanges our ashes for his beauty and how there is glory tucked in the deepest sorrow and suffering.

Pastor Lloyd tells how certain circumstances may derail, delay or detour those on their journey to destiny, but it will not have the power to cancel their destiny.

“I also share on how I overcame all the struggles, roadblocks, dream-killers and destiny-killers to seize my purpose and fulfil my God-ordained destiny. It is a masterpiece and a must-read. As you turn the pages, you will see the redemptive power of God who through his grace, restored me back to my rightful place in him.

“The specific message in the book is that it does not matter where you are, but where you are headed. It does not matter how you start, but how you end. That God’s grace is available to all. That God is in the restoration business.”

Pastor Lloyd is a teacher and speaker, known for her no-nonsense Bible preaching as an exhorter and motivator.

She is also the Founder, CEO and co-pastor of the Daughters of Destiny Network and the Host of the annual Daughters of Destiny “Unstoppable Empowerment Breakfast” and Conferences that have crossed denominational boundaries.

His wife, mother, preacher and administrator is also the co-pastor and co-founder of True Vine Prayer and Deliverance Ministries, along with her husband, Pastor Ronald Lloyd.

She is an advocate for the liberation of women who have been called by God to fulfill purpose and believes that when the truth of the Word of God is declared over their lives, they will have the power to walk in their God-ordained Destinies.
