As the theme of the event suggested, conference-goers testified that they felt “the move of God” during the first anniversary celebrations for the live broadcast programme “At One With the One”.

Last weekend’s conference featured Apostle Gilbert Rolle of Bimini, Prophetess Dr Tonya Hall of Jacksonville, Florida, and the programme’s founders – Pastor Trevor Simmons and Prophetess Tamara Simmons.

“It was truly a great feeling because we had persons travel from the Family Islands and also internationally as well. We got an opportunity to meet persons that we would have only seen on the Facebook broadcast. And so to finally see them face to face was an inexplicable feeling. It was a blessing to have them come out and we are truly grateful,” said Prophetess Simmons.

For her, one of the most outstanding moments during the three-night conference included seeing visiting pastors fellowship with the audience.

“We had pastors that did prayers, moderated, or just came to show their support, and this alone was a breath of fresh air; to see the leadership in what the Lord is doing through this platform,” she said.

Prophetess Simmons said the last year represented quite the journey for their broadcast programme, so they thought it only fitting to celebrate their first anniversary.

“We wanted to see souls saved, rededicated, families restored, deliverance and restoration. The overall goal was to strengthen and empower the body of Christ, to be all that God has called them to be. The overall turnout really superseded our expectations. Persons came in from Grand Bahama, Georgia, Eleuthera and Bimini. That was so amazing. Persons came from every spectrum of society. It is an online forum, so we knew persons would have been viewing as we made the services available online, but as said, the turnout was truly amazing,” she said.

Even up to this week, she said, there were still testimonies coming in. People saying the event gave them amazing strength and they cannot wait until the next conference as this was exactly what they needed.

The “At One With The One” broadcast will continue to be aired every Monday at 1pm via Tamara’s “Prophetezz Tamara Simmons” Facebook page.

“This year we intend to provide a more varietal approach where we are going to be talking about kingdom health with great men and women of God...that has been given to us as a mandate: to teach and train how to keep our bodies healthy. We will have women talking about how to balance ministry and home. We are going to be bringing people on the show who are going to be sharing their strength in the kingdom,” she said.

“I believe the Church is on the brink of one of the greatest moves of our generation. I believe this cannot be doubted because of all that is going on in our society, but I want to encourage people not to lose focus because of the negative, but to continue to push through in faith, as I know God is moving through His people.”
