SINCE his return home after winning the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) middleweight title last month, Tureano ‘Reno’ Johnson has been enjoying his stardom with the Bahamian people.
He attended service at United Faith Ministries on Fire Trail Road, pastored by Apostle Phalmon Ferguson and paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Hubert Minnis.
Johnson, 35, also attended the Junkanoo Summer Festival at Arawak Cay. He won the title over Ireland’s Jason Quigley in a 10-round main event of the Golden Boy DAZN at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.
