LONG Island can claim bragging rights among the local sailing community as the “Best of the Best” in 2019.

The fourth annual Best of Best Regatta concluded last night at the Montagu Foreshore and winners in each class were presented with their awards. The Running Tide took top honours in Class A, followed by the New Courageous in second place and the Red Stripe in third. In Class B, the Susan Chase finished in first place. Second went to Ole Boy and the Ant’s Nest finished third. The Whitty K took first place in Class C, followed by Xena and Slaughter on the medal podium.
