Christmas in da ghetto returns to audiences

Christmas comes once a year and at Believers Faith Christian Academy it is a time for sharing and caring. In celebration of the birth of Jesus, they have taken time out to bring joy and laughter to the lives of the people that they see and love every day.

This year, the academy, in conjunction with the Youth-A-Fire Ministry, is bringing back the “life-changing, hilarious” stage play “Christmas in Da Ghetto 2” tonight.

The event will be held at the Believers Faith Outreach Ministries Multipurpose Facility on Carmichael Road, West beginning at 6pm. This year’s stage play promises to bring excitement, love and happiness to everyone. To share in this experience, will be several youth and children of various Children’s homes, including children who have been adversely affected by the Hurricane Dorian disaster. In addition to entertainment, they will receive food, gifts, prizes and surprises which are guaranteed to put a smile on their faces.

This unforgettable stage play was written and produced by Dr Mattie Nottage and highlights the many unexpected antics which can occur in the ghetto during Christmas. Spokesperson for the production, Deandra Ferguson shares that their year’s production comes complete with life-sized props, a colorful backdrop and an all-star cast. Mrs Ferguson further states that this fun-filled stage play takes you on an hilarious journey of how the love of God is able to reach, transform and redeem everyone, maybe even “bad santa”.

To find out who is coming to dinner for Christmas this year, meet the cast of Christmas in Da Ghetto at the Believers Faith Outreach Ministries, International’s Multipurpose Facility on Carmichael Road, West and start your Christmas off with a burst of fun. Mrs Ferguson promises that attendees will not be disappointed.
