CUDAS! 7th Annual Leno Invitational Swim Meet on Friday

FOR the past six years Leno has supported the Barracuda Swim Club and once again the club is scheduled to host the 7th Annual Leno Invitational Swim Meet at the Betty Kelly-Kenning Aquatic Center February 1-2.

Leno is a Bahamian-owned and operated investment company which offers a broad range of financial services. “We at Leno are thrilled to continue to invest in swimming, and the youth of the Bahamas, as they strive for success,” says Mrs Kenris Longley, manager of operations at Leno.

“The Barracuda Swim Club has a long history of excellence in producing some our nation’s greatest citizens as they excel both in and out of the pool.”

“Leno’s commitment to the youth of our nation and the community at large is commendable. We are a non-profit organisation where our focus is on the development of the whole athlete and we could not do it without the support of Leno, to whom we are most grateful,” said Mrs Philice Albury, club president.

“We look forward to this continued relationship and support as we work together to advance the sport of swimming throughout the Bahamas.”

Swimming is an activity that helps children to excel both in and out of the pool as it cultivates discipline, passion and commitment.

On hand for the presentation were two of the club swimmers Sarah and David Singh. The swimmers collectively thanked Leno for their commitment to the Barracuda Swim Club and the swimming community at large.

The Leno Invitational Swim Meet is scheduled to begin at 6pm this Friday and 9am Saturday at the Betty Kelly-Kenning Center.

The public is invited to come out, support and experience the excitement of a swim meet.
