The Youth Ministry of First Baptist Church, led by Deacon Adrian Finley, hosted their annual service “Youth Invasion” service last Sunday.

Under this year’s theme, “From War to Victory”, and the young people showcased their gifts and talents through drama, singing, step and dancing.

Special guest artist Corey “DJ Counsellor” Rolle, the Youth Pastor of Salem Union Baptist Church, had the congregation on their feet as he ministered in song. Pastor Kellen Russell of Dunamis Outreach Ministry brought an anointed and soul-searching message. He admonished the church to continue to pray for its young people, who are tomorrow’s leaders. He also encouraged the young people to be strong in the Lord and to walk in victory.

First Baptist Church is led by Rev Dr Diana Francis and this month will celebrate its 55th anniversary and founder’s day. First Baptist was founded by Rev Dr Earle Francis.
