The team behind the live broadcast programme “At One With the One” will be celebrating the show’s first anniversary this weekend under the theme “A Move of God”.
The milestone is being honoured with a three-day conference, which kicked off last night at the Vision of Hope Auditorium on Yamacraw Road. The conference continues tonight and Friday night, and will feature Apostle Gilbert Rolle of Bimini; Prophetess Dr Tonya Hall of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as ‘At One With the One’ founders Pastor Trevor Simmons and Prophetess Tamara Simmons.
“We are creating an opportunity for all who have supported this programme through prayer, and of course (providing) a viewing – to gather in one place, fellowship and receive of the Lord,” said Prophetess Simmons.
“It was in 2018 when the Lord spoke to us saying that 2019 was more than a year, but a move of God. We believe this broadcast is a part of the move of God, thus the theme encompasses what we believe is taking place.”
Prophetess Simmons said this last year as been quite the journey for their ‘At One With the One’ programme, however the organisation is embracing it all.
“We want to see souls saved, rededicated, families restored. The overall goal is to strengthen and empower the body of Christ, to be all that God has called them to be. We believe the presence of God will abide with us, and for this alone we will not be the same, but empowered to yield to and obey the will of God, thus walking in his power and authority,” she said.
Prophetess Simmons said it was the testimonies of those whose lives have been impacted by the broadcast in the last year that has encouraged and motivated this celebration as well.
“For some this maybe considered as insignificant, but to us this accomplishment is far above silver and gold. We watched the views grow from 100 to over 500. We are hopeful that persons will realise that we are fostering kingdom connections that will add to their godly progress. I want others to realise that the ‘At One With The One’ team and founders are here for them, and we are praying and believing God to work out what concerns them. Most importantly, we want the Lord to be pleased,” she said.
