POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at West Bay Street bar early Thursday morning.
According to reports, shortly before 2am, an armed male entered a business and robbed a female cashier of cash, before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
Police did not disclose the name of the property where the incident occurred, however The Tribune understands it is Curly’s restaurant and bar.
Meanwhile, in a separate matter, police are appealing to members of the public who may have information related to a shooting incident that occurred in Carmichael Road area late Wednesday.
According to reports, shortly before 11pm, a male was in the front of a residence on Hunts Close when he was approached by three armed men, who opened fire on him, wounding him.
The male was transported to hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition up to press time.
