IN her first collegiate season at Indiana Tech, Grand Bahamian freshman Abigail Simms came up with some big wins in singles and doubles on the college tennis circuit.
This past week the Indiana Tech Warriors women’s tennis team started its season with its third consecutive win. They defeated Goshen College 7-0.
Simms, playing as the number one flight, won over Sarah Hindsaw 6-0, 6-0. She did not give up one game. In doubles, Simms teamed up with Gabriela Fabri and won 6-1.
Indiana Tech has a 3-0 record for a good start to the season.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Simms and her team on a great start.
“We look forward to a great tennis journey for Abigail,” the BLTA said.
