CITY BOWLING LEAGUE
THE most valuable player (MVP) in the City Bowling League competition Monday night at Mario’s Bowling and Family Entertainment Center was Kevin B Williams of the Asurewin Pocket Pleasers with a 235-second high game and a 629 high three-game series.
The runner-up was teammate Kelsey Rolle with a 610-second high set.
Ricardo Rolle of E & U Watercoolers blasted the pins for a huge high game of 256.
The leader in the ladies’ category was Tara Johnson of E & U Watercoolers with a respectable 543 high three-game series. She was followed by Janice Hoyte of the Tenback Strikers-Lee’s Motor Works with a 201 high game and a 525-second high set. Joanne Powell of Bahamasair Flyers struck for the second high game of 197.
FORD BASEBALL CAMP
THE third annual Mario Ford Baseball Camp is scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 29 and run until October 26 at Windsor Park.
The camp will run every Saturday from 9am to noon. It’s for boys and girls between the ages of four and 15 years.
