To make wise decisions, we need the facts

EDITOR, The Tribune

COVID-19 started in December 2019; possibly earlier. In order to contain the virus, The Bahamas and countries around the world went into lockdown. We were asked to be patient and told the lockdown would not last long.

It is now August 2020. The Bahamas is still in lockdown. The government is saddled with debt. Unemployment is high. Businesses are closed and many have little hope of reopening.

At the beginning of the pandemic, billionaire Bill Gates proclaimed that we would not return to normal until the majority of the population is vaccinated for COVID-19.

Recently Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), said “there’s no silver bullet at the moment [for COVID-19] and there might never be.” He also said “we will not be going back to the old normal,” and “the new normal” – whatever that is supposed to mean – is the latest mantra.

Despite the message of doom and gloom from the WHO, treatment for COVID-19 is available. Several countries have approved the corticosteroid dexamethasone and the antiviral drug remdesivir as treatments for COVID-19 patients.

Hope may also lie with an inexpensive protocol used by Dr. Richard Bartlett, MD of West Texas. He reports success using inhaled corticosteroid budesonide in a nebulizer, zinc and an antibiotic such as clarithromycin. Dr. Bartlett’s protocol looks promising and studies have begun.

Many doctors also report success with a combination of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), zinc and azithromycin. In July 2020, America’s Frontline Doctors (AFD) made a video about the success of this inexpensive treatment. The video was quickly removed from YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

When Google CEO Sundar Pichai appeared before the House Judiciary Committee’s antitrust panel, Rep. Greg Steube asked him why Google and YouTube allow violent content on their platforms but “silence physicians and their opinion of what can help and cure people with COVID-19.” Despite Google’s belief in “freedom of expression,” Pichai said that claims of a cure discussed in the AFD video violate guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and “could cause harm in the real world.”

The drug at the centre of the uproar is hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). It was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1955 (65 years ago); listed by the WHO as an essential medicine; and deemed safe by the CDC.

In spite of the safe and successful history of HCQ, The Lancet and The New England Journal of Medicine jumped on the bandwagon to discredit HCQ and chloroquine (CQ) by claiming the drugs are not useful and can be harmful to COVID-19 patients. Both medical journals were obliged to retract the papers because the data provided by Surgisphere Corporation was not accurate.

When COVID-19 first started in China, the disease could have been quickly contained but doctors in China were silenced. As a result, the disease spread around the world, people died, the world went into lockdown, and the economy crashed.

In the US, doctors risking their lives to treat patients are being censored, discredited, threatened and risk losing their jobs when they speak about treatments for COVID-19. Meanwhile, self-appointed global health czar Bill Gates – who is not a doctor, has a vested interest in vaccines, and is using his wealth to determine our future – has an uncensored platform via all forms of media to map out the “new normal” and to promote unproven vaccines that are being rushed to market and are potentially ineffective and dangerous.

In addition to the fiasco surrounding treatment for COVID-19, testing for the virus has been disappointing. Tests have not been readily available, test kits have been faulty, results have not been accurate, and people have received positive test results by mail even though they were not tested.

In order to make wise decisions we must have accurate information. Tragically, critical data about COVID-19 is being suppressed and falsified. Behind the scenes is a major power struggle at the highest level. We, the people, are tangled in a web of apparent corruption and deception; and we are disposable.

In order to protect our health, rights and freedom we must educate ourselves. Health is wealth, knowledge is power, and the truth keeps freedom alive.

The book “Nature Cures: The A-Z of Ailments and Natural Foods” by N. H. Hawes contains a treasure trove of information about nutrition and health.

The discussion with Dr. Richard Bartlett and Dr. Mobeen Syed on August 01, 2020 is fascinating and explains how Dr. Bartlett’s protocol may help combat COVID-19.

The book “Confessions of an Economic Hitman” by John Perkins provides insight into how governments, corporations and powerful organizations manipulate and exploit populations around the world.
